Who Framed Roger Rabbit: Childhood Nightmares, Toon Town and Race

Who Framed Roger Rabbit scared me as a kid. And as an adult, aspects of it are much, much worse.

Women Who Kill
by Alejandra Gonzalez
As a faithful fan of horror (and simply as a woman in general), being able to feel accurately represented in the movies I watch has always been of utmost importance to me.

Review: Awakening the Zodiac
by Jerry Smith
While there have been more than handful of films based on the notorious Bay Area Zodiac murders, let’s be honest here: there will most likely never be one that will hold a candle to David Fincher’s 2007 Zodiac. What Fincher accomplished with that film is nothing short of creating a masterpiece and it’s kind of like that thought of “well, where do we go from here and why bother?” Thankfully, Jonathan Wright’s Awakening the Zodiac does something very unexpected and refreshing: it gives us viewers a completely unique film, one that serves as a hybrid of true crime and fictional, engrossing storytelling.

While You Were Sleeping: RomCom is Not a Dirty Word
by Lexy Van Dyke
I hate the title “rom-coms" even though I use that word a lot. I joke about how much I love them, but it’s not really a joke. I truly, absolutely, adore them. This point is something I like to get across with any new movie friends. I sing their praises daily to an annoying degree.
