Back to 1976: THE BOY IN THE PLASTIC BUBBLE
by Heath Holland
Though it’s more often mocked than admired, this made-for-TV movie was a stepping stone in the careers of quite a few people, especially John Travolta.

Equal parts supernatural horror, martial arts, and Blaxploitation, nothing can prepare you for how much fun Devil’s Express truly is.

The Happy and Heartwarming HONEY, I SHRUNK THE KIDS
by Robyn Buckley
I love Rick Moranis. That’s a fairly well-documented fact as I am not shy about admitting my fondness for him. He is one of the earliest celebrity crushes that I can recall. My affection for him is mainly rooted in a deep love for Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, but that is an article for another time. Many other movies cemented my love, and for 1989 week I will be focusing on Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. So join me in shrinking down and going back in time to 1989.

I Gave Her My Heart, She Gave Me a Pen: Loss in SAY ANYTHING
by Adam Thas
I’m assuming, and hoping that any of you reading this have seen Say Anything, and if you haven’t, you should watch it now, and then watch it again. It’s one of my three all-time favorite movies (it switches between which one I’ve seen most recently) and in my opinion it’s perfect.
